If I could give more than five stars, I would! What a gem of a restaurant! We celebrated a birthday and wanted something special and so glad we made the trip from Williamsburg! Everything was amazing from the Suya chicken wings (we ended up getting a second order!), the mac and cheese, bacon wrapped tots, shrimp and grits...everything was amazing! But you must try chef's signature dish that we almost overlooked if it wasn't for our waitress suggesting it - roasted roots and squash. Amazing! Chef Ty has done a fantastic job and we'll be back!! BRAVO!!

The underground warm dining setting was amazing. The food choices were unique and varied. Each plate was shareable for two people, and it was a fun experience to select which ones to add!
Perfectly sized tapas plates. We also ordered the pork belly, which I can't wait to reorder. By the time I thought of taking a pic it was gone much like the bison meatloaf. They have a new chef but his food...Amazing. We went Friday and going back tonight, Sunday. We sat at the bar and she was extraordinary.
This restaurant is incredible! I had the best meal I've had in quite some time. Service was awesome and drinks were delish! I highly recommend this place!!
My husband and I enjoyed dinner and drinks here for 14th wedding anniversary back in March. The atmosphere is on point, so cozy and relaxed. The tapas plates were all delicious and the executive chef, Ty, spoke to us after at the end or our meal to make sure everything was to our liking. He was very personable and we enjoyed having a conversation with him, it made the experience special and even more memorable. We will definitely be back for another date night!
First time visiting this spot, as a lover of tapas— the food did not disappoint. we ordered the seafood dip, mussels, Nigerian wings, duck tacos, donuts…. The duck tacos were mine and hubby favorite by far. Service was decent. The chef took time to stop by our table for a bit which was a plus. Can’t wait to return and try more dishes.
Chef Ty has revitalized Still. His passion for food and exploration of tastes is a gift for the 757. It’s refreshing not to have the same food that the majority of Hampton Roads restaurants try to serve. The Baked Brie was perfection. I haven’t had Brie done right since the French restaurant Le Chambord closed. The Brussels were culinary perfection with the right amount of crunch mixed with the explosion of taste. The Jerk Au Vin was perfection with the infusion of French and the Caribbean flavors. If you have been shying away from Still for a few years, I would highly recommend coming back. I’m glad I did.
We visited this restaurant for a date night and I was truly impressed. It was a Sunday night, so it was nice and quiet, but I’m sure it gets busy during the week. The atmosphere is warm, home-like, but spacious. We were seated promptly and our server was very welcoming, thorough, and attentive. She did a fantastic job at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. We got 2 mocktails, and they were both refreshing and flavorful. As for the food, all of the plates were amazingly prepared. From the bold flavors to the plate presentation, you can tell that the chef is passionate about his craft! My favorite dishes were the brussels sprouts, jerk hen, & crème brûlée. We had an incredible dining experience and will definitely be back soon!
